Yes, the peel and stick tiles are renter-friendly and can be easily removed. The sticky foam backing makes installation simple, but heating it with a hair dryer allows the tiles to be peeled off cleanly. While there may be a small amount of adhesive residue remaining, this can typically be cleaned up without too much difficulty when removing the tiles.
If the wall surface is a smooth material like ceramic tile, the tiles can usually be removed quite easily with minimal damage. However, on painted drywall or plaster walls, there may be some more noticeable wall surface damage, such as peeling paint or drywall paper, when the tiles are removed. Heating the adhesive can help mitigate this issue, but there may still be some repair needed to restore the wall after the tiles are taken down.
Q: Is this easy to clean the stain?
A: It is easy to clean and the surface is waterproof and oil resistant. Install it in the kitchen is a good choice.
Q: Is this product waterproof? I want to install it in the shower.
A: Our tiles are waterproof, but the adhesive isn't. Water will not infiltrate from the surface. Unless doing waterproofing treatment on the installed or grouted wall, we don't recommend sticking on the area which immerse in water or with high water flush.
Q: Mildew forming in seams? At all?
Customer1: No mildew at all.

Q: Do I need grout?
A: Given that our tiles feature a beveled edge, they naturally form a joint when laid together. Grout is therefore optional, and the final decision is up to your preference.

Notes
If the installed area exceeds 176°F, such as around a fireplace, it's recommended to treat the surface with heat insulation. For low-temperature applications, press and hold the tiles a little longer to allow the adhesive to work effectively.
Matters Need Attention
Indoor use only. Do not apply in areas that are immersed in water or may be flushed, such as shower floors or pools. Considering wastage during cutting or wrong installation, please always take 5-10% more products as a complement.

I absolutely love this product! I am using it in my bathroom remodel and it looks gorgeous! I love that it is thick and so natural looking. They are a bit pricy for only 24 pieces and I almost didn't get them due to the price and how many I would need but I am so glad I did!
Admittedly, I did not read the description throuroughly before ordering. I thought I was ordering peel and stick floor tiles and was a bit surprised at their small size when they arrived. That being said, these are very nice and well made. Sturdy, with a real woodgrain look. I used them in the bottom of a cabinet and am happy with the turnout. After sticking the tiles down, Im pretty sure they arent coming out without taking the cabinet with them.
I needed a backsplash above my stove, since we removed the old undercabinet microwave and there was a blank wall. These looked promising and I loved the look, especially the wood grain texture.
I prepped the area with a board, to have a smooth backing (and raise it up to be more flush with the existing tile below), then painted it with Kilz specifically for mold and moisture. This made for a really good surface to adhere the planks to. I used a level to apply my first row and was able to build up from there. I used a straight edge and box cutter to score the front and back three times each and they broke apart easily. I wasn't able to re-position these once I placed them, they were definitely stuck in place, so be sure you have it where you want it before pressing down. After looking at different placements, these look better in a staggered/random placement as opposed to subway-tile-style or matched. Just my two cents, but if you're debating it, try random for a more realistic wood look unless you want them to look like tiles. You will also have less waste.
Not sure why anyone would think these are actually made out of wood, the description says wood-like (maybe that was added later) but in any event, these are similar to engineered wood flooring.
Overall, I'm really happy with it and can't wait to add the new hood vent and custom shelf below!
WOW! These create such a beautiful accent strip! Absolutely versatile for different projects. If you purchase more boxes, you can cover ANYTHING in an array of methods and styles. A little patience and technique will reward you with such a gorgeous result. I ABSOLUTELY approve of these. All of the finishes are beautiful in my book.
These peel and stick tiles look nice and have a real wood look. I wanted to use these behind my headboard to spruce up my room. Easy enough to install.
